1. The greater the furnace negative pressure, the better
If the boiler burner is not designed to operate under negative pressure, the coal, ash, smoke and sparks around the boiler burner will inevitably come out, which will pollute the working environment. But this is not to say that the greater the negative pressure, the better. The negative pressure of furnace is too large, the first is that the power consumption of fan is greatly increased; the second is that the air leakage of furnace is increased, the thermal economy of boiler burner is reduced, which is not conducive to energy saving.
2. The positive and negative furnace pressure have nothing to do with safety
Whether the furnace pressure is normal or not has a considerable impact on the safety of equipment and personnel. The excessive negative pressure aggravates the wear of the flue gas pipe and the convection pipe wall at the tail, such as the superheater and economizer, and the wear amount is dozens of times larger than that under normal operation. After a long time, the wall of convection tube will be worn and thinned, and the main steam temperature will be too high, and the tube will burst over temperature. Positive pressure combustion (except for oil fired boiler) is more harmful to the safe operation of boiler burners, mainly including the following points.
(1) deterioration of heating surface and grate conditions;
(2) the furnace door and steel frame are deformed, and the furnace wall is cracked;
(3) aggravates the abrasion of the convection tube wall;
(4) the metal pipe wall is overheated, which destroys the water circulation;
(5) it is easy to make the expansion port of the smoke pipe leak;
(6) a large amount of steam with water, deterioration of steam quality, water shock;
(7) aggravates the corrosion of the heating surface.

4. The less water in the fuel, the better
In general textbooks, water in fuel is a harmful component and impurity in fuel. Moisture will absorb the heat released during fuel combustion, increase the loss of exhaust gas, and make it difficult for coal to feed coal and powder; if moisture is contained in fuel oil, it will make the flame pulse combustion unstable, and even the boiler burner extinguishes the fire, so some people think that the less moisture in the fuel, the better. In fact, this is very wrong.
5. The more pickling times, the better
Generally, the inner wall of the boiler burner after a period of use can be divided into three layers: scale layer, rust layer (Fe3O4, Fe2O3 and FeO), and iron matrix (FE) layer. The purpose of acid pickling is to remove the scale layer and rust layer (Fe3O4, Fe2O3 and FeO) on the inner wall of the boiler which cannot be washed off by high pressure water through chemical reaction, so as to realize enhanced heat transfer and maintain high thermal efficiency of the boiler burner. However, hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid used in acid pickling can remove the scale and iron oxide rust layer, but it is inevitable to etch into the iron matrix (FE) layer, because the accumulation of iron oxide rust layer is not uniform, and the phenomenon of pit corrosion and oxidation of metal matrix is widespread.
Some people think that the air leakage of the boiler burner can reduce the air supply of the boiler burner, not only harmless, but also energy saving. This is a very wrong understanding.
